Our arts funding supports audiences to engage with social issues and take action. This includes our annual Sit Up Awards at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, our art prize at the Royal Scottish Academy’s Annual Exhibition, and our sponsorship of the Edinburgh International Book Festival.

Law for Change backs legal claims with a clear social benefit. We co-founded this initiative in 2023. Law for Change has now supported over 100 cases focused on a range of issues including human rights & civil liberties, environment, and discrimination.
