About Bhopal Medical Appeal
The Bhopal Medical Appeal provides support to the victims of the Bhopal chemical disaster of December 1984, where an estimated 10,000 people died within the first 72 hours and a further 15,000 have died since. In addition around 100,000 have developed chronic medical conditions as a result of the disaster.
Our Work
We provided BMA with advice, assistance and photographic services to produce a multimedia resource pack in preparation for the 25th anniversary of the Bhopal disaster. Changing Ideas provided a photographer and commissioned a journalist to visit Bhopal that resulted in a major 8 page feature in The Daily Telegraph newspaper and several other features in newspapers throughout the world.

Every single woman from Asylum Aid .
Our work
'Every Single Woman' is Asylum Aid's campaign for greater gender equality within the asylum system and we produced a short film to augment the campaign. The film featured the testimony of three women who have been through the asylum system. It was designed to highlight key advocacy points and work in conjunction with hard copy material for which we also provided still images. The UK Border Agency has now appointed a Gender Champion which is the first demand of the Charter.
World Jewish Relief
About WJR
WJR provides emergency relief and welfare programmes to improve the lives of the most vulnerable. They provide basic support in the form of food, medication and fuel as well as sustaining and renewing Jewish life in communities across the world.
Our Work
Changing Ideas maintains an ongoing partnership with WJR to raise awareness about their work. We have worked with SACCA their local partner in Rwanda to provide a collection of photographs of their work with street children. These together with stories about the children were shown in an exhibition in London to raise both funds and awareness. The photos and SACCA were subsequently featured in a national newspaper. Currently Changing Ideas is working with WJR to develop a specialised peer to peer sponsorship microsite.

SHS provide highly trained practitioners to provide diverse support to children and families both at school and at home to tackle the many reasons which are often behind problems such as persistent lateness, truancy, failure to do homework and bullying.
See the Bigger Picture
Our work
Working in collaboration with Global Stories we supported SHS in their 'See the Bigger Picture' campaign which seeks to raise £10 million pounds over three years. These funds will allow them to work in 700 schools across the country and provide significant support to vulnerable children and families. We produced a powerful advert for use across a range of media and a selection of stills for use on the campaign publications. This media was augmented within a microsite using 360 photos.

About Environmental Justice Foundation
EJF was established to empower people who suffer from environmental abuses to find peaceful ways of preventing them. EJF also campaigns internationally to raise awareness of these issues in addition to providing grassroots advocacy training.

Our work
We provided a grant to support the production of 'Deadly Catch' a film documenting the impacts of illegal pirate fishing in Sierra Leone. The films have been shown at the European Parliament, Chatham House, and distributed to over 6,000 fish retailers with the most recent edition of the Good Catch Guide. The film is being used by DfiD, the EU, West Africa Sub-Regional Fisheries Committee (SRFC), World Bank, IUCN, NEPAD and FAO to raise awareness both within these organisations and internationally to raise awareness of the issues. EJR were also invited to show the films to the President of Sierra Leone who subsequently made a commitment to action.

Our work
Funding from Changing Ideas helped in the production of a significant multimedia film to assist HRW’s support of the Oslo process to ban cluster munitions. Cluster munitions are a deadly weapon that kill and maim indiscriminately. This campaign was a great success and resulted in 107 states signing the ‘Convention on Cluster Munitions’ (CCM) on 30th May 2008.
