Shooting for NGO’s, Photographic Workshop in Kolkata, March 2009
Lead by an award winning photographer, this workshop will give participants the chance to work closely with an NGO dealing with a number of issues including: prostitution, drug addiction, HIV/AIDS and street children.

Individuals will be encouraged to develop their own photographic practice whilst working with an NGO. Participants will have to assess the needs of an NGO and plan and produce photography specifically tailored to fulfill the NGO’s needs.

UK Education Programme
We are currently developing a programme of case studies with small UK charities to demonstrate how photography can be used to assist these organizations.

The results of this programme will inform our future work and demonstrate how photography can be used in fresh and innovative ways.

Lectures
We have given various lectures about the work of Changing Ideas and how to make a difference with photography to a number of the UK’s leading photography colleges. We have spoken at the London College of Communication, Central Saint Martins School of Art and Design and University of Wales, Newport.
